We recommend comfortable walking shoes for Masada and modest clothing suitable for visiting holy sites. For the Dead Sea, bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, a hat, and plenty of water. There are facilities at the Dead Sea for changing.

Food and drinks are not included in the tour price. However, your guide will be happy to recommend and facilitate stops for lunch or snacks along the route.

Once at the top of Masada via cable car, there is a moderate amount of walking involved to explore the various ruins and viewpoints. The paths are generally well-maintained.
