FAQ

Why Choose Our Spirit-Led Christian Tours?

At Elbow Holy Land Tours, we believe a trip to Israel should be more than just sightseeing—it should be a pilgrimage that transforms your faith.

  • Spirit-Led Experiences: Our guides are born-again Christian believers in Yeshua. They don’t just share history; they facilitate a faith-filled journey, allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and move during our tour.

  • Gentle Pace: We intentionally design our tours to be “easy going.” You won’t feel rushed. We provide ample time at each site for prayer, reflection, and appreciation of its biblical significance.

  • Small Group, Big Community: Our group size is intentionally limited to a maximum of 30 people. This fosters a family-like atmosphere where you can connect with fellow believers, have direct access to your guide, and create lasting friendships.

  • Our Mission: Our tours are more than a business; they are a ministry. We aim to connect believers worldwide with the Holy Land and the local people, allowing the light of Jesus to shine brightly through our groups.

Come and join us as we experience Israel together, as a family of believers in Christ.

8 Day Christian Israel Tour – Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions we get asked about our Multi-day tours of Israel & the Holy Land.

Is this tour suitable for a first-time visitor to Israel?

Yes, absolutely. This 8-day itinerary is carefully crafted to cover the most significant biblical sites from Galilee to Jerusalem, providing a comprehensive and deeply meaningful introduction to the Holy Land.

How is this tour different from other tours of Israel?

Our tours are “spirit-led” and focused on faith-filled experiences rather than just historical sightseeing. We prioritize a relaxed pace, small group sizes, and a guide who is a born-again believer, creating an environment for genuine spiritual growth and connection.

Do I need to be in good physical condition for this tour?

While the pace is easy, the tour does involve a fair amount of walking, sometimes on uneven ground or steps, particularly in the Old City of Jerusalem. Please be prepared to walk for several hours each day.

What is the weather like in Israel during late October and early November?

This is an excellent time to visit. The weather is generally pleasant, with warm, sunny days and cooler evenings, especially in the Jerusalem hills. It is a comfortable time for touring without the extreme heat of the summer months.

Are flights included in the tour price?

No, flights are not included. You are responsible for booking your own flights to and from Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV). We recommend planning for an evening departure on the final day.

Can I get baptized in the Jordan River?

Yes, baptisms are included on Day 4 at the traditional site of Jesus’ baptism, Qasr el Yahud. Baptismal robes and certificates are provided. This is an optional but highly encouraged experience for believers.

What should I pack for the tour?

We recommend comfortable walking shoes, modest clothing for visiting holy sites, a hat and sunscreen, a light jacket for evenings, and a Bible and journal.

How much should I budget for tips?

Tipping is customary in Israel. We recommend budgeting approximately $3-$5 per person per day for the driver and $5-$7 per person per day for the guide.

    Is travel insurance required?

Yes, personal medical and baggage insurance is mandatory and MUST cover COVID-related eventualities.

Do I need a visa to visit Israel?

Many nationalities (e.g., USA, UK, Australia) do not require a visa for Israel under the Visa Waiver Program. We recommend checking your specific country’s requirements well in advance.

As of the 1st January 2025 all visitors to Israel must now obtain an ETA-IL before visiting Israel.  Applications can be made at: https://israel-entry.piba.gov.il/
